Tuscan Braised Red Onions
- 2 or 3 red onions, diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup red wine
- Combine ingredients in a small sauce pan.
- Simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring and adding more wine if necessary.
- Serve over ricotta cheese or on top of cream cheese with baguette slices.
