ADULT SIZED FUN
I love putting together charcuterie boards for grazing. The key to a perfect board is NOT to overcrowd. I’m guilty of this because I do love all the cheeses but depending on the size of your tray you typically only need three or four cheeses to save room for all the other fun accompaniments. When it’s time to build your board, get creative and grab things from your cabinets! Bowls, cups, even muffin liners, can all create separation and space for all of the products.
Let’s take a peek at all of the things for the adult board…
Cheese
First of all, it wouldn’t be a charcuterie board without CHEESE. Personally, I am a fan of all things cheese, so this is my favorite part to experiment with. ALDI makes it easy with all of their delicious options at affordable prices – did you know they have a large selection of award-winning cheeses?! For this board, I chose:
- Emporium Selection Aged Reserve White Cheddar
- Emporium Selection Goat Cheese (add honey & pepitas to make it even more yummy!)
- Emporium Selection Dill Havarti Cheese
Mummy Baked Brie
This is a fun take on everyone’s favorite appetizer… baked brie. This brie even comes with its own reusable ceramic dish and at $6.99* for everything, it’s the BEST deal ever! Be sure to make note for the other upcoming holidays! To make it a festive mummy for Halloween, simply cut strips of crescent roll dough and line it up over the brie before baking!
*Prices may vary depending on your location

Pizza Sticks
These Mama Cozzi pizzas are a 2020 ALDI Fan Favorite and I can see why! To place them on your board, simply bake them and use a pizza cutter to cut them into strips, easy for snacking and dipping! Speaking of dipping, be sure to set out dishes with marinara and ranch!
SPOOKY DRINKS
And don’t forget the adult beverages! With award winning wines and beers, ALDI makes it easy to have some signature cocktails ready for the big night – many of which are under $10.

CHARCUTERIE FOR KIDS
Why limit the charcuterie board fun to adults only!?!? My kids LOVE when I set up a separate snack board for them and their friends. Kids feel more independent when they can serve themselves, and this is a fun way to let them do it!
Here is what I included on my kids-version Halloween charcuterie board:
Cheese & Fruit
Pre-cut cheeses, cubes and cheese bites make it super easy to pull together! With the large selection of organic fruit available at ALDI, you can easily add some healthy options to your charcuterie. Grapes and apples are favorites around here.
Monster Guacamole
These individual guacamole containers are perfect for creating a monster guac for each kiddo. Simply make sliced olives for eyes and use sour cream (or cheese) to make a monster mouth. Adorable AND delicious!
Mummy Cheese Sticks w/ Marinara
I loved the mummy brie so much, I decided to make a kid version with stick cheese and crescent rolls. Serve with a side of marinara to make it EXTRA spooky.
Mummy Cheese Sticks
Ingredients
- 4 sticks string cheese
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup marinara
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Freeze cheese sticks for at least 10 minutes prior to baking.
- Wrap each cheese stick in 1 crescent roll dough triangle. Sealing the edges.
- With the remaining triangles, cut them into thin strips and place over the wrapped sticks.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve with marinara.
Pumpkin Pizzas
If you don’t want to do-it-yourself on the recipes above, no fear. ALDI has these adorable pumpkin pizzas that are just as festive, and the only thing required of you is using the oven! Perfect for dinner any night of the week and especially on Halloween.
Other Kid Friendly Products
Here are some other kid friendly products I used to round out my kid friendly board:

- Monster pretzels
- Assortment of candy
- Benton’s Maple Leaf Crème Cookies
