Stir Crazy Gift Guide for Girlfriends
For The Wine Drinkers
These glasses are my new favorite thing in my house, and Sam totally agrees! They come in small, medium and large, and we use them for everything from water to wine to Scotch. I honestly cannot recommend them enough, especially at this price.
This marble wine coaster is so beautiful, I think it’d be perfect on your table when you invite me over for wine (hint, hint).
And last but not least, the Coravin. I bought one for Sam (shhh) for Christmas after seeing it on the Today show. It basically lets you open a bottle of wine even if you only want one glass! I’ve heard great things so I’m excited to see it in action. You know I’ll keep you posted.
For The Coffee Drinkers
An initial coffee mug is the perfect way to help your lady friends stake their claim on their coffee at work (or even at home!).
A milk steamer/frother is a MUST for homemade coffees, and is fun for the whole family — my kids love a steamed milk like they get at Starbucks. This is much more budget friendly, and maybe even more delicious!
For your long distance BFFs, these best friends coffee mugs are a perfect way to feel like you’re together even if it’s just in spirit.
Travel mugs are such a useful gift. Something that keeps your coffee as hot as possible for as long as possible?? That’s the stuff of dreams!
If you realllllly want to go the extra mile for the coffee lover in your life, I recommend the gift of monthly coffee delivery. I have this and it’s so nice to have really great coffee on hand at all times.
For The Kitchen Lovers
I actually own each and every one of these gadgets and use them A LOT in my kitchen, so you can consider all these suggestions tried-and-true.
The handheld chopper/whisk/immersion blender is perfect for soups and small chopping jobs that don’t require a huge food processor.
I don’t say this lightly: this slow cooker is maybe my favorite thing in my kitchen. You can use it on the stove top, in the oven and in the crock pot. There’s nothing better this time of year than coming home to a .
And for my new favorite gadget! This is not going to surprise you… it’s the he AIR FRYER! So many people have asked me if it’s actually worth the kitchen real estate, and I can say without hesitation it’s a yes. It’s so versatile, and I promise you will want to air fry everything you get your hands on. Hot tip: it’s the only way to reheat pizza.
The following are a little less pricy but still kitchen must-haves in my opinion. I took this microplane to my cookbook club’s favorite thing party – I love it so much for grating garlic or parmesan cheese or lemons zest. The next item I had never heard of until a year or so ago and now I use it all the time… it’s a Danish dough whisk! Perfect for stirring thick batters that tell you “not to over mix.” And I just love this apron – full disclosure, I don’t actually own this one, but I love it (and bonus: you can get it monogrammed).
For The Cheese Addicts
Cheeseboards are all the rage these days and I know exactly why: they’re relatively easy to assemble, they look gorgeous and they keep your guests happy all night long. With these cheese knives, slate board and a fail-proof guide, you’re on your way to cheeseboard heaven.
And my I suggest that if your friend does love a good cheeseboard, perhaps get them a gift card to Lauren Kim Allen events so that they can attend a Wine & Cheese class in person! I attended a class this past year and I learned so so much. Plus you get to eat cheese and drink wine with your friends, win/win!
For Your Reclusive Friends
(TRUST ME, I’M NOT JUDGING)
These sweatshirt robes are heaven on earth. I was gifted one last Christmas and I wear it on the regular!
For The Germ Freaks
(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)
With all the disgusting places we take our phones these days, they should really just live in this contraption that sanitizes it for you!
What’s the one thing on your wishlist you can’t live without?!
mom
