This cinnamon apple toast was inspired by a recent visit from my mom. She made a beautiful German apple cake. Fortunately for me, there were leftover cinnamon sugar apples, which I immediately repurposed. Cinnamon toast is already delicious, so apples could only take it to the next level, right? Not to mention the finished product looks way fancier than it really is. That makes it the perfect thing to serve to guests for an easy morning brunch.

Cinnamon Apple Toast Recipe
Cinnamon Apple Toast
- 1 Tbsp butter softened
- 4 slices bread
- 1 apple thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp white sugar
- Set oven on broil.
- Spread butter over 1 side of each slice of bread.
- Toss apple slices with cinnamon and sugar.
- Layer the apples on top of the toast. Top with more sugar, if desired.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes or until bread is toasted and sugars are caramelized.
This sounds amazing! Never thought about putting it on a toast.
